Churchyard of St Botolph-without-Bishopsgate, City of London
Visited May 2015
Behind the church of St Botolph-without-Bishopsgate is a churchyard which has been pretty much cleared to make a peaceful park/garden. This happened in 1863, only 11 years after the Burials Act of 1852 stopped burials within the City. Few memorials remain, but the tomb of Sir William Rawlins and his wife Mary is quite splendid.
